How did you both meet?

Leon and i were bound to meet one day. Both our fathers worked together, Leon worked with my brother in law and they were great mates and his cousin lived next door to my parents, so we were always bumping into each other.

How did he pop the question?
Leon proposed on Christmas Day 2012. He surprised me with a big box filled with scrunched up paper all inside (Heres me thinking he was just playing a joke) but right down the bottom of the big box was a little box where the ring was and a little note saying “will you marry me?”

What type of wedding did you plan, what was your theme?
Leon and i wanted a relaxed wedding where all our family and friends could have a great time with a great view.  We chose the theme of Black and white.

Which quirky features made your wedding unique?

Our entrance song into our reception was to our surname together “Hey big spender”.

Where did you hold the ceremony?

Our ceremony was held at Saint Francis Xavier Cathedral, Wollongong

Why did you choose City Beach?

How could we not choose City Beach? City Beach had everything we were after, from the amazing views to the delicious food,
the size of the room was perfect to fit our guests and the staff a pleasure to deal with.
What was the most memorable moment from the day?

The most memorable moment was saying our vows in front of our family and friends and of course the celebrations afterwards as husband and wife.

What was it like dealing with Wedding Coordinator Hannah?

Hannah was an absolute pleasure to deal with through the whole process, nothing was ever too much trouble for her and the day couldn’t have gone any better than what it did, thanks to Hannah.

What’s your No.1 go to song that had to be included in your playlist?

Anything Freddy Mercury/Queen had to be on the list as Leon is a massive fan.

Who was your photographer for the day?

Jason Cole and what an amazing photographer he is!

Any advice for couples about to tie the knot?
Don’t Stress take each moment as it comes as the day goes by so quick.
