How did he pop the question?

Brad convinced me that his dad wanted to practice his photography and get some photos of us, so one sunny Spring day, Brad took me up to Killalea State Park and we posed for some photos. Brad turned to me and said “I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you”, to which I replied “Me too”, and he said “No, I literally can’t wait”, and got down on one knee and asked me to marry him!  Suddenly, our family and close friends popped out of nowhere with champagne and we spent the afternoon celebrating.

Why did you choose City Beach?

The location was a big factor.  We had a stunning view over the ocean, and the sun was setting just as guests were arriving, so they were able to enjoy their canapes and champagne on the balcony before we arrived.  City Beach was also really flexible in terms of seating arrangements, and they were really accommodating for special requirements from guests.

What was the most memorable moment from the day?

Our first dance was a really special moment. All the lights in the room had been turned out apart from the fairy lights on the roof and a single spotlight on the dance floor and all we could see was each other.
