How did you both meet?

We were in the same grade at high school. Met each other in year 8 and started dating in year 9.

How did he pop the question?

On our babymoon holiday at the beach in Vincentia

 What type of wedding did you plan, what was your theme?

We are pretty casual people and definitely wanted something by the water with a simple yet elegant feel to the reception.

Which quirky features made your wedding unique?

Not really quirky, but having our 6 week old daughter present on the day (although she won’t remember it!)

Where did you hold the ceremony?

Wollongong lighthouse – oragnised by City Beach Function Centre

Location, Value with all the inclusions, we didn’t have to out source much PLUS Melissa was amazing at the showcase

What was the most memorable moment from the day?

Definitely the speeches, it was an emotional moment for us when we aren’t usually emotional or sentimental.

What was it like dealing with Wedding Coordinator Melissa?

Melissa is absolutely sensational at her job. She was very accommodating and nothing was too hard or couldn’t be achieved. She made the planning so easy with great communication which made the day was perfect! Thank you so much for everything Melissa

What’s your No.1 go to song that had to be included in your playlist?

We did a song request on our RSVP and “horses” was the clear winner!

Any advice for couples about to tie the knot?

Definitely don’t sweat the small stuff. If something won’t work, scratch it and find a plan B. Make sure to spend time together at the reception as well as mingling with the guests Plan the day to how you want it to be not what is traditional or expected from a wedding. If you don’t want to do something, don’t.
