Interview - Michael & Tashana
How did you both meet?
We met through Michael’s brother and a mutual friend
How did he pop the question?
After dinner and walk along the beach in Wollongong.
What type of wedding did you plan, what was your theme?
Urban/Boho style. But our only theme we had in mind was fun!
Which quirky features made your wedding unique?
Our fun bridal party photoshoot, walking the streets of Wollongong finding fun and unique places to take photos.
Where did you hold the ceremony?
Why did you choose City Beach?
The location was the initial thing that drew me to City Beach and had also heard from friends that had been to weddings there what a great place it was
What was the most memorable moment from the day?
The moment just before I walked down the isle. I was shaking with nerves and excitement
What was it like dealing with Wedding Coordinator Melissa?
A pleasure. Melissa was organized, easy to deal with and a lovely person to get a long with.
(also want to make a special mention to our coordinator on the night Therese. Therese was so lovely the day before the wedding, we had a family emergency that quickly changed our stress levels, Therese made sure we didn’t have to worry about a thing on the night and that was very much appreciated)
What’s your No.1 go to song that had to be included in your playlist?
Daryl Braithwaite - Horses
Who was your photographer for the day?
Any advice for couples about to tie the knot?
Enjoy every minute not only on the day but the lead up. Once it’s over you will want to do it all again
