What personal information do we collect?
The City Beach Centre collects personal information from customers, employees, contractors, agents and other individuals. We collect this information when it is necessary for business purposes.

- information of the type requested in our Application For Credit Account, a copy of which is located on our website; or
- any other personal information you submit to us.
The personal information we collect may be provided on forms filled out by individuals (including when you register on a City Beach Centre website and when you agree to purchase products from us), when you visit a City Beach Centre website, in face-to-face meetings, email messages, telephone conversations, or from third parties. If you (or your employer) apply for commercial credit, we may collect information about you from third parties (for example, from your employer, service providers, agents, advisers and brokers). How is personal information used and disclosed?
The personal information we collect is confidential. Our purpose in collecting information about you is to provide you with a better website experience, to provide products or services to you and to operate our business.
Some examples of when we may need to collect, use and disclose this information are in relation to property or supplier enquiries, for email newsletter registration, for providing customers with products and services, and for customer complaint handling.

In the course of our business, we use a range of service providers to help us maximise the quality and efficiency of our services and business operations. This means that individuals and organisations outside of the City Beach Centre may sometimes have access to personal information held by the City Beach Centre and may use this on behalf of the City Beach Centre. We require our service providers to adhere to strict privacy guidelines and not to keep this information or use it for any unauthorised purpose.
We may also share non-personal, de-identified and aggregated information for our own research or promotional purposes. Under no circumstances will we or any of our related entities sell your details to marketing agencies without your consent.
The City Beach Centre does not routinely disclose personal information to any third parties. The City Beach Centre will not use or disclose any personal information about you without your consent unless:

- it is permitted by this Privacy Policy;
- we believe this is necessary to provide you with the products or services you have requested;
- it is necessary to implement our terms and conditions of service;
- it is necessary to protect the rights, property or personal safety of a City Beach Centre employee, another customer, or any member of the public or City Beach Centre; or

How do we store personal information?
The City Beach Centre will endeavour to take all reasonable steps to keep secure any information we hold about you and keep this information accurate and up-to-date. Your personal information may be stored in hard copy or electronically. The City Beach Centre has security processes in place to protect personal information from misuse, loss or unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. The types of measures we take vary with the type of information and how it is collected and stored. We require our employees, agents, contractors and data processors to respect the confidentiality of any personal information held by us.
Recording your email address
We will only record your email address if you authorise us to do so. It will only be used for the purpose for which you have provided it and will not be added to a mailing list unless you authorise us to do so. We will not use your e-mail address for any other purpose, and will not disclose it, without your consent. Your data will only be shared within The Jamberoo Group of Companies, that include: Jamberoo Action Park, Steamers Bar and Grill, City Beach Function Centre and The Belmore All Suite Hotel, Wollongong. There may be times where we will send you offers, promotions and announcements which we think will be of interest to you.
Exchanging your personal information with credit providers
If you or your employer apply for commercial credit with us, we may disclose information about you (including your credit worthiness or credit history) to other credit providers to assess an application by you for credit, to notify them of a default by you and to inform other credit providers who allege you are in default with them. We may disclose your information to any person reasonably necessary for the purposes of that person taking an assignment of any contract the lender has with you.
Which credit reporting bodies do we exchange credit information with?
If you (or your employer) apply for commercial credit, we may share your credit information with credit reporting bodies. The credit reporting body we use is Dun & Bradstreet (Australia) Pty Ltd whose privacy policy and contact details are set out at www.dnb.com.au
Your rights in respect of credit information exchanged with credit reporting bodies
You can ask a credit reporting body not to use or disclose credit information it holds about you for a period of 21 days (called a "ban period") without your consent if you believe on reasonable grounds that you have been or are likely to be a victim of fraud, including identity fraud. When you apply for credit, you are taken to agree to us accessing your personal information (including credit-related information) held with a credit reporting body, even if there is a ban period in place, for the purposes of assessing an application for credit or in order to collect overdue payments.
Access to and correction of your personal information

Upon your request, we will provide you with access to any of your personal information we hold (except in limited circumstances in which it is permitted by law for us to withhold this information). We will usually be able to respond to your request within 14 days.
The City Beach Centre will take reasonable steps to correct any information which is found not to be accurate, complete or up-to-date. If you wish to change personal information that is inaccurate, incomplete or out-of-date, please contact us and we will amend this record. If you wish to have your personal information deleted, please contact us and we will take all reasonable steps to delete it unless we need to keep it for legal reasons.
