City Beach Function Centre has again been awarded the winner in the Australian Restaurant and Catering Awards - this time in no less than 3 (three) categories:

Winners of: Function/Convention Centre Caterer, Wedding Caterer & Overall Caterer of the Year

These are independently judged and nationally recognised awards that commend exceptional service and culinary talent across Australia.

General Manager, Michelle Tobin remarked that it was "a great honor to be awarded and accept such high praise and is a testament to the dedication and consistency of members of the team in providing a premium and good value venue for all manner of events from weddings to corporate functions. It's not easy doing business in this environment but it's easier when you have the confidence knowing you are representing a function and service offering of such a demonstrable high standard."

Executive Chef, Paul Hamilton was overjoyed to see that "while everyone looks forward to sitting down to a well-chosen, well-cooked and well-presented meal, it's a challenge to deliver this consistently through the course of a year and across the many and varied large and small functions we cater to. In every case, I refuse to compromise when it comes to quality and it's great to have this recognised in this award."

City Beach Function Centre is looking forwards to a wonderful summer with many weddings and functions already booked for the coming months. The future is looking bright for Wollongong's only beachfront location, and these recent awards confirm the venue's status as one of the most consistently awarded sites in Australia.
